    Lodge cast iron is pretty good

    Can it beat my 100 year old cast iron for smoothness? No it can't. However, these are a pretty nice pan and relatively smooth compared to some other brands (Bayou Classic, I'm looking at you!). The good: It comes preseasoned so if you need to use it right off, it shouldn't stick much. Seems well crafted and no divets or gouges from sanding down. The bad: It comes preseasoned. So if you don't care much for the preseasoning, you get the fun of stripping it off to redo it your way. I prefer bacon grease to season my pans and I am not a huge fan of pre-seasoned pans. I did just season over the top of the pre-seasoned but I am probably going to strip it and redo it my way. Stripping isn't fun.

    worst griddle I ever bought

    I thought this griddle would be the answer to my prayers. My old griddle had begun to warp and eggs and pancakes would sometimes stick on it so when I saw this cast iron griddle, I was excited. Unfortunately, EVERYTHING sticks on this griddle regardless of how much oil or cooking spray you use.

    One of the best!

    I was pleasantly suprise when I opened this upon arrival. It's heavy enough for even heat distribution yet light enough for daily use. Cleaned well also. I'm in love all over again! I recommend this to anyone who is considering buying. It's a wonderful piece and Logic is a GREAT cast iron cookware manufacturer!

    The wonders of cast iron

    Now that I have had time to use this product, I am amazed. It really performs quite well. I have been wanting a cast iron griddle for a while now and finally gotten around to getting one.     Great value

    Hey, cast iron ! Would have preferred a 12" griddle but found that the 10.5" model does the job without issue. When this griddle heats up, it stays even and HOT. No warping or sliding about. Cast iron needs a little care, but once you get it down, you are good to go.....for many years

    Love this pan, it's a great buy for the money.

    I ordered this pan to replace my warped "everything stuck "ceramic coated aluminum piece of junk. I'm glad I did, this Lodge pan is luxury cooking now. A spray of Pam and it's truly non-stick. I did find out to lower the heat a bit with cast iron. Love it!
