Great big sleeping bag for the money!!
Bought for my son who has grown out of his junior sizes sleeping bag. Although this is an extra large (240cm long as opposed to 200cm) it's big but not as massively oversized as I thought it would be. My son is 9yrs and about 143cm tall so yes there is a lot of room for growth but I suspect that he'll not be that long in taking up more of this sleeping bag. He likes the cosiness of this bag with the drawstring around the shoulders and the hood. He has only used it once to Cub Camp but he reckons it'll keep him warm in any temperature. Heavier than his last sleeping bag for carrying but then again also about twice the size! The main reason for getting this one was price but also because his previous one was an Andes too. I wanted something that would keep him as warm and comfortable as possible but it wouldn't be the end of the world if it got ripped or lost at camp. Having previously purchased a sleeping bag from another supplier and finding that the product was not as expected for quality or warmth, I ordered this Andes Nevado 400 sleeping bag from 'Outdoor Value'. Although I have not had the opportunity to use the sleeping bag to date I feel sure that it will prove to be an excellent purchase, very lightweight but will be excellent for comfort and warmth. Please check what you are purchasing, as not all items advertised are of quality which is claimed and what you are expecting, however this sleeping bag is exactly what I expected. Great bag!
Tried it indoors with the windows open. Outside temperature -1c I was toasty! I'm 5' 9" and the bag has loads of room.
