A really good companion on the road
If you check this out on the net you will soon realise that a lot of people have trouble with the initial set-up of this sat-nav. However there is a great link to a video sent by the retailer which takes one through the process in a painless way. Once set up the device works flawlessly and clearly, both visually and audibly. I love the way the map zooms in on roundabouts and switches to a photographic style on Motorwa slips and intersections. There are more features than I will ever use, but that's part of the fun. As value for money it excels. At doing the job I want it is very good indeed. The post code imput is simple but not well described - you have to put the cursor on Town and then enter the postcode including the space. Then you're off. Okay for the price
Good points - The size is great and the detail on screen is great. The sun visor that comes with it is an added bonus Has many features installed,music video player etc which I find pointless space wastage but that's my opinion. Overall it does what it is designed for as a satnav. Bad points - the car charger is very cheaply made and stopped working after 2 days. If the postcode entered is on an unnamed road, it does not even show where the point is. It just throws an X up and memory error comes up. When I went to the website for free map update to download the latest version, the site said it did not hold the maps for this model so cannot download.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

i was very pleased with the unit its self ,well packed and well presented very easy to fit together and install in car,i did have a little difficulty in getting the nav program to start following the instruction booklet but on emailing the supplier(quick reply) and following the instructions given it worked just fine they also informed me that there is a video on youtube to follow,all round it seems a great system in the time i have used it and at a good price.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Nice bit of kit
I'm a lorry driver and have been using this sat nav for last couple of weeks! And to be fair it beats the high hundreds of quids worth named brands names out of the water,! 7" xgody truck Sat nav
Good Sat nav very clear screen. Takes a while to set it up to how you want it to run but once figured out easy to use. Only found a few errors with navigation trying to send me over weight limited bridges but as I know about them just avoided it and it's quick to recalculate. Value for money
So my XGody arrived today, very quickly, it turned on, found satellites, it’s relatively easy to programme, understand and use. The only two draw backs I have found are that it doesn’t work well with postcodes and it doesn’t display an arrival time or time remaining etc on the navigation screen and that info is quite hard to find, but it does give you a journey time estimate on the preview screen before you go into the navigation map. Overall if you want all the features and simply can’t live without them then there are far dearer units out there, if you want cheap and cheerful for this price you probably get more than you pay for to be fair.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
