Simplistic but a nod to the classic
I wasn’t expecting this ladybird classic set to be so much larger than all the ladybird children’s books that I have already. Looks good for the money though if you remove the expectation of 'fitting' into an existing collection of older books. The illustrations don’t come over as magical - very simplistic. I do like the history of the stories though that comes at the end of each book. So you have to weigh it all up.
