Essential kit
Essential kit if you are laying laminate floor. Z shaped bar hooks over the end of laminate when at end of run to allow you to knock plank into place. Be careful with block which you use with mallet to knock plank into place during the run, knock too hard with block at an angle and you can split laminate, keep flat/level at all times. Wedges are ideal, use singularly or in pairs facing opposite directions to set gap to wall.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Inferior materials
The very first time I used this item, the main piece (the angled metal) bent when using the hammer supplied. I got the job done, but had to stop regularly to bend item back to a right angle. During the time I spent doing this, I could have made my own piece of angled steel to effect the job more satisfactorily.
