Silverline DIY driver
After reviewing my options I decided to go for a mains powered unit, the battery ones are good but even the quality jobs need a battery replacement at some time, and that can be pricey. I would normally not buy anything made by Silverline, but this was the only mains gun without a revers built in to a rocking trigger, The gun also comes will a three year guarantee, most others only give one year. Best value for the money. Cheap and reliable for DIY. I don't know how good it is if used on a daily basis, in a repair shop, but for DIY is amazing! I could not change my car's oil filter, for being too tightly stuck. I managed to break a wrench, and was afraid of trying more like that, so not to break the filter housing altogether. After the arrival of this wonder tool, I had no expectancy, but it did the job in 3 seconds. IT'S A BREEZE, JUST THE JOB
I was impressed how powerful it is , It took the wheel bolts out of my Van wheels, I personally thought that it would lack power to undue them, but hey it was a breeze , I should have bought one years ago, to give myself an easier life. I did however tighten them up with my wheel brace as I thought maybe it would over tighten them, as I am not sure if it has a safety against that. Better quality than I expected, in fact it's a fairly decent looking tool. Plenty of power too, rattled off the top nut off a front strut with ease, the main purpose of the purchase.
