A spectacular movie and even better in 3D
I saw this at the cinema and had to have it in 3D. It is a spectacular movie full of wonder and magic. The 3D experience at home is even better than at the cinema! I love the at-home 3D experience. It's disappointing that 3D did not become more popular in the U.S.; I have to buy the 3D versions online because the local stores no longer carry them. 3D is great. The picture quality is absolutely stunning on the first Alien movie. I was blown away by how clear and detailed everything was. So clear and sharp I was able to pick out objects I had never noticed. Aliens was not quite as sharp and detailed, but that's not the seller's fault. I haven't got around to Aliens 3 yet as that is the worst movie in the series. Personally I consider it to be absolute garbage. Say what you will but Alien Resurrection was a hell of a lot better than Alien 3.
