Easy to set up. Works well.
I bought this as I had problems with the Wifi connection with one of my PC's (not signal strength related) & I wanted to provide a wired connection for it in an area that was not near my broadband router. It took no more than 2-3 minutes to set it up (the enclosed instructions are fairly comprehensive) & it provides a connection that is as good as being directly wired to the router. It would be useful for someone who wants to connect a device that does not have a Wifi option (eg Freesat receiver) or to provide an improved wifi signal in an area where the broadband router signal is weak.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Total waste of money - did nothing, useless instructions, and web link was inoperable. Only website link found didn't offer any actual help. After spending an entire morning trying to get it to register on my tablet, it went in the bin. Useless for connecting to wifi networks and boosting a weak signal. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC
I’m blown away. We have a workshop at the end of our garden, probably 40feet away from the router. Although your meant to plug this in half way between the router and the dead zone that wasn’t possible and was just hoping the signal strength on this was better than my iPhone ... so plugged the extender in inside the workshop after setting it up which took 2 mins , and boom, the connection is absolutely cracking , somehow I have no idea how pages load up far faster in the workshop connected to this than if I was to be inside my house and connect my phone direct to the router. To say I’m impressed is an understatement!!! So to clarify the Wi_Fi strength on this little cheap device is obviously very strong , and it works even though I’ve plugged it in inside the “dead zone” where previously my iPhone would constantly lose Wi_Fi completely and I’d have to stand right by the wall nearest the house like a nerd and hope for a signal, before getting racked off and having to yet again walk down the house to reply to an email or something daft. 10/10

False Start
It started well enough and I followed the instructions and got it 'up and running'. However, after about a week, it started to 'drop' my network throughout the day and then refused to connect to any WiFi signal I have.
