Better for posture so pay the extra

The walker arrived without any assembly instructions but as an engineer i assembled it but even I got the Elgow support >tee section the wrong way round . Not so sble as the DRIVE walkers but you do walk much more upright also much more expensive at around £260 wheras DRIVE's are about £50 The upwalker is also a bit flexible /wobbly wheras the DRIVE are fiirm.

    A bad buy

The user's body weight is too far forward, so it stops when the front wheels get to a transition strip where the carpets are different. Not good unless you have enough strength to lift the front of the walker, you can't even tilt it towards you slightly over its rear wheels without lifting the front - at arm's length, I should point out. I cannot imagine it being helpful outdoors, as it fails to cope indoors. It is a good height for me, I am 5'5". The arm rest heights are adjustable anyway, so I guess it would be ok for an average height adult. It is reasonable build quality but not excellent: it feels sturdy enough for me at 65kg, but some parts rattle a bit and there are little protruding things like brake wires and wheel hubs to jab unwary ankles. The seat does not clip onto its holders, therefore the arm rests tend to move apart while the wheels move together. Also this means there is a pinch point if you hold onto the seat while you stand up from it. I am very sorry to have bought this walker and I do not recommend it. It might be suitable for someone stronger than me, I suppose.

  • nice and comfy to sit in

walker is very good easy to get around very easy to assemble, light enough to put into car boot the one I have has only one brake working which is not to good.but overall it stops me from stooping like I did with my ordinary rollator

  • Bad delivery.

All fine except for delivery. Driver rang my door buzzer (14 storey tower block) I opened main door of building to allow access to lifts and that was the last I heard of him. Approximately 30 minutes later another resident knocked dragging a heavy box behind her. She told me that the delivery driver had just slid the box through the foyer door and left it there! NOT what I would call DELIVERY!!!

  • Very useful upright walker, avoids stooping like other rollators

Easy to assemble, more suited for indoor use and smooth surface outdoor use. Keeps you upright in a good walking position and supports arms well taking the strain off the back. Can tip forward on uneven surfaces if you're not careful. Seat very useful. Does take up quite a bit of room in the car even when fully folded, we have to put across back seat of the car.

  • Upright walker review

Certainly helps with posture and a more comfortable walking experience. However, does need a very flat surface to use on. Wheels tend to turn around at very small surface imperfections. Suitable for indoor shopping centres etc. But you need to be careful when using outdoors.

  • Walker that keeps you upright, no more back or shoulder pain

Unlike the usual type of walker it keeps you more upright and also takes strain off shoulders. It is very manoeuvrable. .

  • Problems

*I find that to get it into my car is difficult; being over six feet tall, I must adjust it to full height, so each time I go to load it into the vehicle, I must drop it to its lowest position, and that is not good in bad weather, plus it tends to loose balance on rough surfaces.

  • Upright Walker

We ordered this for my wife and arrived three days later so great delivery time. I have read one comment saying it is too small for a 6 foot person, there is many adjustments on it to have this walker for a person over 6 foot tall. It is easily put together, very sturdy, very solid, looks good and can recommend this to any person. It is exactley what it says an upright walker. It is a little difficult to maybe put into a small car is the only thing I can advise, but otherwise 1st class and well happy with it.

  • Good value for the money but a little to small for me

Moving around with it is ok,But even at the hieght it goes still to small for me as my back still Arches over could do with one bigger so my back does not bend over as its painful for me.
