Awesome bug repellent!
I LOVE the Avon Skin-so-soft Bug Guard! It actually has a pleasant smell to it, and it truly works to repel mosquitoes & other insects. And that it has sun screen built into it is an added bonus! Wrong spray top
I would not re-order this insect repellant spray because of the cap enclosed with the spray. I like the type of repellant spray with the fixed cap. Worked great!
I am a two-time malignant melanoma survivor and now very concerned about mosquitos. Very pale skin, highly subjected to sun burn. Spent the week in the Outer Banks of NC - their hottest week so far this summer (2016), never had a single sunburn or mosquito. Wasn't smelly or sticky like other products. Great and effective bug repellant for my beagle, who is outdoors a lot! Smells pretty good, safe, and effective against gnats and mosquitoes for him
No DEET involved, so it is safe for my beloved beagle, who I care about more than whiny children! It is safe, proven, and works really well here in north FL, where the gnats, no-see-ums and mosquitoes are bad here! It gives me peace of mind when he has to stay outside some nights. A couple of squirts in the evening, and I feel he is okay!! Smells pretty good too. He may not like it--but what dog likes to be sprayed, haha?--so I feel it works well for him. The gnats immediately dissipate and the mosquitoes too. I highly recommend this AVON product, though I completely LOATHE AVON in the first place...but there are not many choices. I recommend this product more than the one in the dark green bottle, as this one is proven to stay on and be effective a couple more hours more than the other AVON bug repellent. Trust me, my beagle means the world to me, he IS my kid, because I have none. It works!
I've used *only* this product as a mosquito repellent for many years. I like it because it doesn't have a strong odor (I seem to be allergic to most perfume/chemical-type scents), and most importantly, it works great. I'm seldom outdoors for more than an hour and I believe you'd want to apply it again if you're going to be out for longer because it *does* wear off after a while.
