Is a product fit for purpose as what I ordered the plastic used is light weight and does fracture on the lips near to lid easily so take care when removing or putting the lid back on! Does the job, fine for the price
A basic pond filter with a large brush, a sponge and some ceramic media which all trap green sludge effectively. I'm using it a second filter, my existing one wasn't clearing all the green from the water, and it has made a difference. Not pressurised so must remain above the level of the pond surface. The water outlets need a large size hose and as they are very close together, joining them up with a Y or T connector is a bit of a pain. Cleaned up our pond
Our wildlife pond was looking like some sort of horrible murky soup but within 2 weeks with this filter the water was clear and healthy. We did add a kitchen nylon scouring pad to the foam filter which helped but otherwise it was fairly easy to connect it up to the pump and leave it to do an excellent job.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Waste of money.
Poor performance. Reverted to my old bucket and filter foam which works better cost me nothing. This gadget also has a stepped inlet stub rather than tapered hence a pain getting the hose to fit snugly.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
