Bought this as i was laying some porcelain floor tiles & really didn't want the hassle of doing manual cuts. Less than 40 quid so why not, right? Anyway, how glad i am than i did. It went through porcelain floor tiles with ease. It looks a bit plasticky but who cares if it does what it's supposed too. I read a few reviews about people getting soaking wet whilst using it. I can only imagine that they overfilled the water tank. It says in the instructions not to do this, just to put a drop in to cover the tip of the wheel. I did this and had not problems. It's definitely worth buying it will save you loads of time.

I bought this cutter to tile our small porch (1x1.5m). The cutter does cut but not as well as ones I've used in the past. Not sure if the blade dulled but it starting chipping tiles badly. To combat I started cutting tiles upside down and it then pretty much struggled to get through much. Also one of the screws (I assume holding the motor) came loose and jammed it completely. To summarise it cuts but not impressed with the quality and wouldn't fancy tackling a larger job with it.

Considering I paid £33 for this it is a bargain. Had to cut every 600x300 tile in a cloakroom to obtain the desired results. No splash, no dust, certain cuts were free hand due to the tiles being too large to use the guide, cuts top and bottom sides of the porcelain, clean regular to prevent build up of clay which could put load on the motor.

Good but could be better as the guard over the cutting wheel only pusher's in. On my old one adjusted with a large plastic screw, and was very easy to adjust the height of the guard.

Arrived in good time & well packed. It's very light weight plastic, not that that's a bad thing, I'm just not shore that I would take it on a building sight, It would snap in half the first time someone steeped on it. With most tile cutters; it could do with fixing down when in use as being so light weight you tend to push the thing across whatever you are working on ! The water trof has a overflow on the inside so when you want to move it it will spill the contence all over the place. And there is no piratical way to rinse or drain dirty water out of water trof. But as a home DIY Home tile cutter it's an excellent little machine that dosen't spray water all over the place when cutting like others do !
