Its small and handy allowing you to add the correct pressure to the head of the tool to remove the grout. For the harder concrete based floor grout it requires a bit of effort on the part of the used, but if guied in long forward and backward motion the grout will come away eventually. safer than the electric removers in my opinion. Care needed though not to remove the glaze on the side of the tile if it happens to be a bevelled tile edged one. I use these all the time.. On soft grout they will easily do a 3 to 4 metre square floor but with harder grout I would think 1 1/2 metre square would be a good estimate.
