Good value feed
Initially the birds would not eat this feed, maybe because of the aniseed smell, after several weeks they ate everything that was put out. The content of the feed is made up of many small seeds that have husks, various other seeds without husks and suet pellets, there is minimal mess below the feeder and only a few seeds germinate. The small birds in my garden like this feed, anything left by them I.e. Maize pieces, are put on the ground where they are eaten by pigeons. There is no bulky wheat in this mix, I have just bought a second 20kg bag, I will buy it again in future as I think it is the best value good quality mix available.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Birds eat all the seed.
Wonderful mix of seed, birds really enjoy it and there does appear it's all eaten hence no mess. I've only given 3 stars as it does grow which isn't what I wanted. If I didn't mind it grow I would recommend this seed, it also smells lovely.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
