Probably not for the kiddies (unless they are a bit ghoulish lol)
This looks like a children's picture book but as it is basically a list of how each of the Gashlycrumb children die, it's really a dark, rhyming series of illustrations which are humorous AND creepy. What makes it really stand out is Gorey's black and white pen and ink illustrations. It's an absolute classic - loved by everyone with a dark sense of humour. This collector's edition comes in a beautifully printed and engineered outer sleeve, lovely to look at and lovely to hold. There's nothing else quite like it.
