Climate change is real but it's not the end of the world. He helped save the world's last unprotected redwoods. There are desires for status and power. But most of all there is a desire among supposedly secular people for transcendence.
WANT TO KNOW THE SCIENTIFIC FACTS?
This is THE antidote to the climate and environmental alarmism that's infecting the world's population.
Sure, there is climate change happening. We can change very little of that. We could spend all of the world's GDP for the next 10,000 years and make infinitesimally small changes while many millions die from poverty.
Pollution is another matter...almost entirely...and we can do something about that.
The belief that we can change the world's climate is beyond rational thinking or any of the corrupted science that's being hyped right now at COP26 and elsewhere.
No matter how many $£Trillions are spent it is obvious that the unfortunates in low-lying islands will never have their islands lifted by 1 millimetre and they'll never stop the sea rising.
The reality is that 'CLIMATE CHANGE' is being marketed so that big corporations can cash in on selling so-called new and ''Green' technology that in reality will cost more to produce and consume more resources than the existing technology.
Eye opener to the deceitfulness of those in power. They appear to want to a global pseudo Marxist regime ruled by those politicians, bureaucrats, acedemia and business people. They believe the people of this world are their property, like cattle, to do with as they please.
I don't agree there will never be an apocalypse - the world could end unless we all go nuclear
Very important information to help us all combat global warming and understand the background to why, when nuclear is actually the safest form of energy production in the world, everyone is so frightened of it. Convinces us all that the only way to stop global warming is an energy form that produces NO CO2 which is nuclear.
A well written and interesting assessment of environmental issues. The author is a long time activist who is corageous enough to challenge much of the knee jerk opinions of the "Greta" generation. The world needs to listen to calm and positive solutions. There was never a glorious "Hobbiton" existence where humans lived in perfect harmony with nature. Most of history was one of short lives and brutal poverty. Our future needs thinkers like this.
