Poor Antenna
I have struggled and messed around with it for two hours. I have scanned and scanned and received Ziltch channels. Not one channel. I get five channels from a three foot length of mans wire from a old razor and sweet nothing without it so I have resorted back to my wire. There has been a change. After fumbling around for an hour, I got 15 channels. All bad quality and pixellating. I dug out a pound shop ariel I forgot about and now receive 172 channels and all perfect. This unit is useless unless you live under a transmitter. Also, instead of a stand, it has two steel bars that plug into holes and are not fixed in so they fall out constantly. Neither use or ornament
The description says it is up to 50db amplified, I could barely get any channels, I got a maximum of 58 DTV channels. I purchased an indoor aerial from Wilkinsons with a maximum gain of 20db and got 159 channels. My opinion is the Lloytron aerial is crap.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good alternative to aerial
Work quite well, sometimes affected by atmospherics. They don’t last forever, I had to replace the last one after about 5-6 years, but for the orice you can’t complain. Ideal if you don’t want to install an external dish or aerial. Set up in minutes.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
