Didn't give me Gas!!
Out of the 8 cylinders (of 28) that I have tried so far in my camping stove only 3 have been OK. The gas lights OK to start with but soon dies out even though it's a new cylinder. Have tried removing, shaking and re-installing but the same thing happens. The cylinders shown in their picture are 'Marksman' brand but the ones sent to me are 'Cross Country'. So far I'm very disappointed. Will be in-touch with the supplier but thought I should try a few more first - meanwhile if you are thinking of buying from them please check with them that they are 'Marksman' brand or one that you have used before and trust.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Doesn't take standard screw in canisters
It doesn't make it clear that the gas canisters are a bayonet type, not the screw in type. The bayonet type canister is not readily available. It works fine and seems good quality but I wouldn't have bought it had I realised the type of canister used.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It's ok.
Very useful and used in a variety of applications, myself I will use them for cooking predominantly while the temperature is a few degrees above 0°c. Secondary application is to take the chill off a small cabin on a boat that has no other heating appliances, which so far have approximately 7 hours burn on minimum settings , so would be expensive to run over any extended period of time. I gave 3 stars, it ok which it is ! Im not wetting myself with joy the fact a consumable has appeared on my door step giving it 5 I guess other folks expectations in life must be quite low.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Could do with a bit more power!

A great long handled blow lamp
This is designed to scorch weeds in patios etc, but, it has so many more uses if you need high heat to start fires, or pinpoint heat in a small area. The canister connection is my only concern, as it connects on a quarter turn connector, so doesn't take much to loosen it accidentally.
