Jacques Tourneur directs this classic 1940s horror starring Simone Simon. After marrying an American man, Serbian Irena Reed (Simon) is scared to be intimate with her husband after being told of a fable of her homeland that says sexual arousal could cause her to transform into a deadly panther.
