Enjoyable blast from the past
I don't write many reviews and when I read reviews rarely do I see any comment about the DVD menu . All is fine with this box set as it does have the one thing I am most concerned with when buying boxed sets and that is the all important " Play All " in the DVD menu. If this seems silly i have seen DVDs that fail to include this and after one show it returns to the menu instead of playing the next show on the disc . But for anyone that has been frustrated with that before rest assured they did include the play all feature so you can binge watch the Bob Newhart show with an option to select episodes if you choose to.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Counterfeit/Bootleg - Mostly plays fine.
Nice price, but cheap bootleg production on 4.7GB media (instead of the 8.5GB Dual Layer that Shout Factory actually uses) creates flaws in the disc that make some areas unplayable (player says, skipping over damaged sections). Half of the discs were loose in the case, but the scratches were minor compared to the flaws in the discs themselves. The "water stain looking" areas in the attached picture are on the laminated foil, not the plastic surface of the disc.

One of the all time great's...
If you like 70ties Sit Com's I think you will really enjoy The Bob Newhart show. This is a well done show, with really wonderful actor's. I was born in '54 and really love this from my younger days. Great value for the DVD set.

No Ability To Click to Individual Episodes
Yep, I cannot forward to individual episodes. The option appears to be there, but when you click on 'episodes', nothing happens. So I have to guess about where a particular episode might be on the dvd. If anyone can tell me how, that would be great.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
