Good quality nylon mesh but not resistant to boiling water
I bought this sieve as I was looking for a good quality product that could handle boiling water. Handle and rim are robust and can handle weight. However, after the first use the mesh lost its round shape. It looks like part of it was not as heat-resistant as the rest. Still usable but I haven't risked running boiling water through it again.
