Product Information

Stranded on a Pacific Island, an Irish Nun (Deborah Kerr) and a heroic Marine sergeant (Robert Mitchum) live a life of constant peril, hiding from Japanese troopers who have a base on the island.     Great Old Movie

    I haven't watched this movie in well over 35 years. How simple movies were made back then. It earned Deborah Kerr a nomination for Best Supporting actress in 1957. Though I do like Robert Mitchum as an actor. May he rest in peace.

    It is a good wholesome old movie, with top notch actors, I saw it about 40 years ago, I was thinking about the movie so decided to purchase it for another look was not disappointed , Debra Kerr is still a good sort.

    Unlikely Survival During World War II

    Virtually a film with 2 main characters set during the Second World War in the Pacific. Despite the unlikely story line it is believable with an acceptable amount of suspense. I found it extremely entertaining.
