Superb deluxe edition of classic Pretenders debut album.
The Pretenders released their self-titled debut album in 1979; of what is now regarded (by many) as a classic,seminal album of the era Containing hit singles; Stop your sobbing,Kid and UK no 1 - Brass in pocket - this is the first cd - three in total) of this 2021 deluxe re-issue of said album. Including demos,out-takes (some previously unreleased) and third disc of live concert,the music contained throughout the collection - is truly excellent. Presented in 12x12 hardback book format: glossy pages,photos of the era and sleeve notes by music writer - Will Hodgkinson - you could say,"what more could you ask for".excellent remastered sound quality,perhaps? I've always loved this eponymous debut album by The Pretenders; and this expanded edition elaborates and improves on it further still.
