Replacement for an old unit
First class alarm, I have replaced the old unit that was looking a bit off colour after being on the ceiling for many years. Just connect up to the live feed, and away you go. Works really well, easy to test monthly, and the back up battery lasts for ages.

It works well and allows very good coverage.
This is a simple to install smoke alarm that really does tick all the boxes. By interconnecting (if required) with other units it allows monitoring of several places and being mains / battery powered increases the places that an alarm will be sounded from any single unit. Easy to install, easy to maintain, and very well made indeed.

Peace of mind!
Bought as a replacement due to accidental damage. Very easy to install and works very well in conjunction with other smoke alarms in the house. Being a mains operated system there is no need to worry about regular change of battery (back up battery needs to be changed occasionally).

Your life depends on it,don't go cheap!
I bought this one from Ebay, as my house has 3 of these interconnected, and one failed, and despite a battery change keep on beeping. The original 3 were fitted in 2000, and have worked perfectly since, so their quality and reliability have been proven. A very good product although not cheap (unless it fails, then doesn't stop cheeping ). I would have nothing else.

I feel much safer now
Two similar alarms already fitted to my home when I bought it. One started to chirp and I thought it was the back up batteries that needed to be replaced. Having fitted new batteries the chirping continued. I then realised that there was a life expectancy on smoke alarms and mine had expired four years ago! Delighted with the new alarms.
