It is a degree incorrect.
We tested our water with 4 different thermometers, although all varied they were only 0.1 degree different. This was 1 degree out! It misled us that the tank was too hot, reading 27 degrees C when actually it was fine at 26 degrees C. This is highly inaccurate and not reliable at all. Very disappointed as it looks good quality.

This looks nice and is OK function wise. However the battery doesn't last. So the short life isn't worth the expense.
