It is a degree incorrect.
We tested our water with 4 different thermometers, although all varied they were only 0.1 degree different. This was 1 degree out! It misled us that the tank was too hot, reading 27 degrees C when actually it was fine at 26 degrees C. This is highly inaccurate and not reliable at all.
