Worth a quick look over
Unfortunately this book was written long ago so is largely out of date. For someone wanting to buy and renovate in france anything is worth a read. There are a few handy tips in it however this was written buy a fluent French speaking wealthy woman who had a lot of help at hand there is no mention of the cost of the property or how much was spent on the renovation which was carried out by local builders. That said it does give you a flavour of what you might expect when buying and renovating.
