No good whatsoever
When the pill chest arrived I was so pleased at the idea of being able to put all my numerous tablets in one container . When opened we were not happy to find lots of the little lids stuck fast in a shut position , they had not been fitted in properly . My husband spent an hour pressing in the lids properly . I then put all my tablets in the pill chest . Two days later the lid came off , could not be mended because one of the flimsy little catches had broke of . A cheap looking flimsy item . Pill dispenser
When choosing a pill dispenser I am looking for a product that is of good quality, easy to use, that is, easy to fill and easy to empty. Unfortunately this dispenser was none of the above. On arrival I checked that the lid on each pill compartment worked, ie closed and opened on the slender plastic hinge. There were 4 compartments where the kid did not open and close. I realised that in the manufacture/assembly of the boxes, some of the plastic had not been smoothed off and therefore there was an obstruction to closing and opening. I had to get a sharp Stanley knife and trim the little glob of plastic off before I could use the pill dispenser. After all of that the lid did not close properly. When filled with my vitamin pills(5) and my daily pills (5)I just about got them in but you have to turn the whole thing upside down to empty the pill compartment, which is risky if one of the compartments is loose. Think about it? If all of the pills fell out of my pill box there would be 280 pills of different shapes and sizes everywhere. So a poor product really.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Difficult to handle
I bought two of these extra large PillMates and they do take all my medication. However, they are heavy and difficult to handle even before the addition of pills. I was very careful but in each case, within the first week the heavy lid had flicked backwards and broken off - the hinges are 'MINISCULE', only about 2mm long! Once without the big lid, as long as I took great care to ensure each compartment was closed, use improved but it is big and it is heavy so there was then the problem of "how do I get the tablets out?" The only thing to do is to open the compartment you want then turn the whole box upside down, trying not to spill any, or, I suppose, you could use a teaspoon to 'fish' out each tablet. As the lid for each compartment is transparent it is difficult to read what is written on it and it is difficult, more importantly, to notice when a lid is not shut properly. If the lids were a solid colour this would make it easier to SEE all lids are closed. As a person needing such a large PillMate is quite probably elderly and/or infirm my assessment is that in its present form it is 'NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE! Sorry!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Nice quality and good size
This item is great except for the fact that you can't lift out each day so that you can carry around your pills for the day. This is annoying and I would return it if I wasn't happy with the size of each little pot so I can fit all my pills in. I just have to swap my daily pills into something else if I'm going out.
