Good design but avarage quality

poor spring retention
been buying pegs that are pretty rubbish due to ultra violet destruction so thought I would give them a go.First impressions were ok and I had been using them for the second time and I found some of my washing on the ground on checking the pegs I found that when my wife collects the washing she pushes the pegs firmly onto the rope this opens the pegs up but they do not return to the closed position as a result they cannot hold thin material only the thicker washing and the smallest position of the peg cant go over the rope so back to the hunt for a good peg.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Pegs after use
The pegs which work are superior to the majority of pegs currently sold, however not some pegs are disjointed & some pegs do not hold thinner fabrics tight to the washing line, which is needed for the sake of drying correctly. Great strong clothes pegs.I have bought pegs in the past that claim to be strong but break after a few uses - not these. I bought some last year left them on the line(yes i know you should'nt) but i need'nt have worried,they lived in the snow being dropped on the ground when my line broke and still i don't think i lost any.
