Made digging over 20 holes easier than could have been with a spade.

Life Saver
My husband is 70 and was determined to do our new fencing on his own. I know digging fence post holes is a tiring job especially at his age. Works a treat
Digging 400mm deep holes for decking frame using a shoval was taking ages and labourious. This works a treat and the secret is to to do a couple of turns and remove the soil from the blades and carry on. Each hole took about 20 mins each. Sturdy well made
This product is very good it is sturdy and well made. I put 3 posts in using this auger. You need some strength to Rotate it and pull out the earth. I suggest only a couple of turns before removing it from the hole and cleaning. Large Stones and roots can be a problem You may need a hammer and bar to remove them.Small stones are no problem.
