Superb choices of cover versions
This is the first instalment of a superb choice of cover versions by Susanna Hoffs (The Bangles) and Matthew Sweet (distinguished musician). The variety of artists which are covered include Neil Young, The Velvet Underground, The Zombies, The Beatles and so many others. My personal favourite is a version of "She May Call You Up Tonight" originally by The Left Banke. This works so well with Susanna"s voice. The depth and variety of the songs covered here, display this duo's musical pedigree and integrity. Simply superb and highly recommended.
