The origin of this A340-600 is easy to recognize: Originally in service with Virgin Atlantic Airways, it was decommissioned and sold in March 2020. The Maltese charter specialist Maleth Aero operated this machine for a few months as a so-called "Preighter", a passenger plane that was converted for freight service and flew medical goods to Great Britain for the British health care system NHS.
