Simple to use and very effective.
I have already used this handy little tool to quickly put and edge back on a couple of kitchen knives so at present it's in a kitchen drawer. I bought it to sharpen my secateurs and now think that it might be worth purchasing a second sharpener for my garden tools. It's definately worth the expense. The lower half (that stays in the handle when in use) is not coated with diamond dust, which is a shame because I would happily pay a little more if the whole length was coated and it was reversable.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A great wee sharpener for the price
I bought this as it was recommended by "Which". It's an inexpensive little sharpener and has done a good job on my loppers, secateurs and kitchen scissors, thereby saving me from having to buy new loppers. I couldn't get it to sharpen an ancient pruning knife but it wasn't a problem as I had an old carborundum stone that did the job.
