Makita are a great tool company I haven't had a bad one yet. My tools are nearly all makita except a few cheep stuff which can work fine for small job
The planier is ready to go straight out of the box. Great tool leaving a great finnish. I would advise that you will need an 110V extension for this to be able to get freed up in your work. Some people just buy a longer cable and fit it directly onto the tools .
