Great transaction.
Part fit perfectly onmy 2006 XJ VDP.
I use the Jaguar Electronic Parts Catalog to get the right numbers (works way better than any web site because it is VIN based).
I found the part and the shop manual on Ebay and installed it myself in 20 mins.
Vendors like this win because they can sell things like this worldwide, I win because I can actually afford to keep my 10 year old Jag and the environment wins vecause instead of being in the landfill older cars are able to reuse equally old parts.
The only loser is the Jag dealer because they miss out on a $1000 repair that only needs to cost 50 bucks. I guess if anyone is going to miss out it might as well be them!
