Very robust compared to cheaper rod holders that have used, well worth the extra cost.

  • Scotty rod holder.

Well made robust item. Don't waste money on cheap alternatives, if you drill holes in your kayak you don't want to do it twice to fit a replacement when the cheap one breaks. Investigate the base fitment that is suitable for your rig as I am finding it difficult to find a flat surface on my ocean that is in a suitable position.
