The Vought Corsair was one of the most unusual but also successful naval aircraft of World War 2. The combined fire-power of the Corsair consisted of six 12.7 mm Browning machine guns. Vought F4U-1A Corsair Plane (Scale 1:32).
This is a reissue of an old kit. However, it's a good choice for someone new to the hobby. It's very cheap for a kit in this scale, easy to build and makes an impressive model. Plenty of opportunity for the more experienced to add more detail. There are alternative kits of this aircraft available in the same scale that are more detailed and complex, but also way more expensive and difficult to build.
Get one while you can - I bought two!
I am currently building this kit,so far I have had several comments to make namely there is some flashing that is in need of removing and I have decided to use the pilot figure as the cockpit is without much detail .This needs remedy.I also do not like wheels in two halves but this is a personal choice.I am hopeful however that this will eventually build into an impressive model
