Experience the thrill of aerial combat with Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII for PC. This Ubisoft video game lets you take to the skies with a variety of historic aircraft and engage in dogfights over iconic locations. With a PEGI 12 rating, it's suitable for players of all ages. The game features a range of genres, including battle, war, action & adventure, and arcade. It was released in 2006 and is compatible with PAL region systems. Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII is a must-have for fans of flight simulation and historical combat games. From my personal collection, discs may have light marks but work perfectly. Horrendous control settings. Whilst the graphics are indeed, very good, the whole game lets itself down with the very poor control settings for actually flying the aircraft. The only way you can (with great difficulty) alter the control settings with this game is when the game first loads onto your computer. Once you start playing the game there is no option to alter the controls on how to fly the various aircraft available. You can view the controls, but there is NO option to alter them once the game is running. You have to stop the game and reload it. The game can be played (aircraft can be flown) using the mouse - but not very successfully. When trying to turn the aircraft with the mouse, the aircraft turns to a degree, then springs back to its original course. Also, the actual flying manoeuvres are nothing like a real aircraft would behave. All in all, very disappointing. (I've just purchased a Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator and this works great!
