Plain and simple.
This machine is perfect for novices and for people who are happy to sew basic stitches. It does not have an automatic button hole stitch but judicious use of needle position and the different zig zag widths will soon overcome the need for 'automatic'. The machine requires minimal servicing and a little oil, every now and then and a little clean out of the hook area with air or brush will keep it happy. Truth is, the more you use it, the happier it is. Hidden away in cupboards or garages for years turns grease into glue and allows oil to drain from the bearings.
