Firstly, the mirrors are pretty good quality for the price. They're not heavy and the mirror fitting is perhaps a little flimsy but as long as you fit them properly they stand up to the rigours of normal driving quite well (not sure about racing or rallying though!). If you are replacing existing door mirrors on your 'B' then these wont fit in the same holes, you can use one of the pre-drilled holes but you'll need to drill another. This means that they wont sit quite far enough forward to see easily so you have to make a determined head shift to see what's coming up on your offside (or nearside). Get a piece of aluminium from the store and create a back plate to take the weight when you attach them to your door else the skin will eventually split. Get a friend to help fit - it's TRICKY and you need slim and dexterous fingers to attach the nuts which you won't be able to see as they're up behind the inner door panel. It took me about twenty minutes to fit each mirror. But its worth the effort. They do look good.Read full review
