This is probably the most compact electric screwdriver available. It has enough torque to match the strength of an average adult for typical DIY tasks and can be locked so that it can be used as a non-powered screwdriver where more strength or finesse is required. It only lacks the shifting power of a long shafted manual screwdriver. Whether you like this driver will probably depend on how you find the automatic switch which is the only way to operate it. Nothing happens until you apply downward pressure on the screw and provided the screw head and the work piece are in good condition this is a very fast way to insert or remove screws. If the screw head is burred or chewed up it might not work as well and for very delicate removal of small screws in plastic cases the downward force required might cause damage. So for something like disassembly of a laptop a manual driver would be safer. There is an electronic torque limiter but it doesn't work like the clutch mechanism found on larger drill/drivers.Read full review
