The 034 SVDA (Single Vacuum Dual Advance) is similar to the 009 but in addition to the centrifugal advance, also features a vacuum advance facility giving an extra 10-12 degrees of advance. This eliminates the 009 flat spot and the extra advance when cruising on a light throttle saves fuel and leads to cooler running temperatures.
