    I wish I had discovered these SAS contro...

    I wish I had discovered these SAS controllers years ago. They work great in a FreeBSD 14.1 system with ZFS on a bunch of connected SAS drives. The RAID functions on the card are not used with ZFS and is easy to disable on the adapter's own BIOS setup program. I used the driver that FreeBSD automatically chooses when it detects the HBA. I don't know if the power management capabilities of this HBA can be used with ZFS but I will endeavour to find out.
