Easy to use & clean up is a breeze!
Good for lining a baking tray for heating up all kinds of foods better than foil as doesnt stick or create metallic taste and also saves on buying foil and easy clean too only negative us not do good for home made items but helpful for defrosting as food is raised so heat can circulate all around it not just cook the top so no need to flip although I still turn the tray its cooking on half way through to cook evenly.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

FANTASTIC
Wish I had bought one ages ago. No more greasy foil to dispose of, no more fat splashing onto the oven, sausages don’t roll. around and they cook evenly. Absolutely fantastic I love it. I read a few comments saying they were difficult to clean, but all I do is leave it in some hot soapy water for a while and then wash it, dry it and leave to air dry overnight and it’s like brand new. Useful addition to my kitchen
After reading quite a few reviews about this product and others similar I thought I would give it a try, and I am glad I did as it has done for me all the good bits previously reviewed by others and none of the bad. I will say I did wash it well and put it in my oven at a medium temperature just to see if it smoked and initially there was some very light smoke but after washing well again there has been no more. Invauable for oven cooking of fatty food
Had bought one of these when they first came out, though my wife managed to accidentally catch it on fire in the oven, so bought 2 to replace the original, just in case. They are perfect for removing the grease and fat from foods, without food being cooked in the removed grease. Good silicone cooking mat.
Washed the mat in soapy water before first using it. Cut the mat to the size that I wanted and brushed it lightly with cooking oil and then lined a baking tin with it. Made an open sided sausage pie and put this into the baking tray and oven baked it. The pyramids helped the fat from the sausage meat drain away from the pastry base (Though I did drain the fat from the baking tray as well before leaving it to cool). Cleaning it was easy, just put the mat in soapy water and use a washing up brush. No trouble.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
