Whilst this module wasn’t cheap, it represented good VFM when you considered that for a vehicle already fitted with the GSM phone, it was basically a ‘plug & play’ operation.
The BT module simply replaced the old GSM unit -connections are identical- and although it is a different size, it was securely located in the ICE rack with tie-wraps.
The necessary antenna was literally, a few pounds and being self-adhesive, it was easily located beneath the parcel shelf.
Disconnect the GSM handset and you are ready to go. The car’s system found and configured the new module quickly.
