Applied two coats to a stripped sewing machine cast iron frame - super result, better than expected, but take your time with light, multiple coats to avoid dripping and then all is good. Hammerite is ideal for coating rusty metal - made easier by having it in spray form. Found that multiple thin coats are better otherwise it can bubble, and cleaning the spray head is essential after using the can.
