The Burn brothers were sentenced to death in the electric chair for various murders. One of the two manages to escape during the execution, the other dies. Mad Dog Burn returns to his old gang and terrorizes Metro City from then on. The young police officer Alyssa is sent after him, but she is exposed and murdered by Mad Dog. however, her body is used for the so-called Lazarus Project. She is transformed into a perfect warrior with the help of a bionic nutrient solution. So she takes up the fight against Mad Dog. In this form, she has no emotions whatsoever, apart from her thirst for revenge. But when she puts a child in danger on her mission and puts the mayor in a bad light, the funding for Project Lazarus is immediately cut off. Alyssa only has a few hours left to finally hunt down Mad.
