Does what it should. is just a dummy load!
Gives a nevy low swr on my meter connected to radio. Nice to test the transmitter without using an antenna. Wanted to see if I was really getting the 8w output on cheap handheld. No then. point proved. by cheap buy twice (radio no this item as it is good)

Dummy load (15watt)
I attempted to make my own rf dummy load but unfortunately tests showed high swr above about 5MHz.The solution to this problem is to simply buy one which I did and never looked back. gives good swr up to 800MHz.

I tested it with vswr meter and it appears OK. No heat detected with 4 Watts. Measured DC resistance is 52 ohms.
