Containing 18 tubes, this 1.23lb carton of Scott's Weedol Pathclear provides an effective weed control solution. It is formulated to attack the root systems of weeds to ensure no further regeneration and can treat an area of 360 square metres (20 square metres per tube), and the weedkiller is especially effective at clearing weeds from gravel paths. I have used this for years, it does the job
I have a mono blocked front drive and I use this every year. I am now an almost 71 years of age granny, who has always pressure washed it every year. It has to be done in my opinion, in May weather permitting, you obviously have to have a warm sunny day to dry the blocks. I then mix the Pathclear and either spray or use a watering can to fill every and I mean every joint. I then sand every joint, brushing in jointing sand. This is job which takes a good part of the day and is hard work, but worth it, on a good day you get a lovely tan and some exercise. The benefit is that your drive, patio or path will look really nice, the best bit though, is, that everything will be weed free for the whole year, it is hard work but it saves your back as you don't have to take the weeds out of every joint. Very ineffective in preventing weeds.Expensive for large areas.
Ever since Sodium Chlorate was banned as a weed killer (2010) I have been searching and trying every weed killer to kill and prevent weeds reforming on my block paving drives and patios without success. Also I have a problem with Ivy. Used sensibly this was the most successful and cheap way of controlling and preventing weeds away from the growing garden. The original Weedol Pathclear sold in sachets and was granular was much more effective and each sachet made up about 4 ltrs. of spray solution.compared to this new Weedol Pathclear which only makes up 1.5ltr . You can apply via a watering can (as suggested) but it becomes so diluted it is very ineffective. I have had no indication that this weedkiller actually prevents weeds germination. Price wise this weedkiller containing Glyphosate is very expensive and ineffective for large areas of paved blocked drives and patios. There does not appear an alternative manufacture as they nearly all contain Glyphosate .Thanks to the EU use gardeners a stuffed.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Tried and tested product now in multiple eco-unfriendly tubes!
I've used Pathclear for years. It works, not instantly, but it does definitely work. But why oh why is it now in individual plastic tubes? Surely this is unnecessary. Good weed killer

Should be named Weed feeder!!!
First time I've bought the liquid form, I gave some to my son to use on his pathway and he told me it didn't work I assumed he'd probably added too much water but I've recently used it on my own path, I made sure to add the correct amount of water but instead of killing and controlling the weeds they look stronger and happierl they seem to have thrived on it! Easy Clear Of Weeds.

Does what it says
I use the product to keep block and tarmac areas clear of weeds. Although it is not really intended for such surfaces because of the risk of run off, In practice I do not find that a problem if used in warm dry weather.
