Substantial product compared to sum around same price.
This is a well made product and has quite a high spec on timber thicknesses etc compared to others in same price bracket. I was slightly sceptical about the 70mm posts being strong enough for durability and look. My landscaper had no such doubts even though the site that is within 100 mtrs of the North Sea! Having seen it I think it is up to the job. (We did add small right angle brackets just to firm up the trellis spars to the posts - not essential) You will need the appropriate tools as nothing is pre-drilled. The screws were perhaps on the short side and having few more about half an inch longer to hand would certainly help. Assembly is not for somebody without reasonable DIY skills. Instructions are not immediately clear even to somebody who had put others like it up previously. The arch will have to be well anchored. We used four ground spikes which were made for 75mm posts so had to wrap a strip of lead around each post forming a “sleeve” before slipping them into the spike to get a a firm fix when the bolts were tightened up.
